“For someone who has had plenty of surgeries from sports injuries, knowing what I know now, a lot can be done to prevent these things,” he says. “Many injuries can be successfully treated without invasive procedures or prolonged treatment.”

More About Kreg

Throughout the past 8 years, Dr. Griffith has become fascinated with movement and with assessing movement dysfunctions.  “Being able to watch someone move, see their dysfunctional patterns, treat them, and then watch as they return to normal movement again is pretty cool!” This has led Dr. Griffith to programs such as the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and a certification in Functional Dry Needling (Kinetacore Level 1 and Advanced Level 2).

“Now, rather than just treating the pain, I am able to see what is causing the pain and treat that issue as well, so that you can move and feel better faster!”

Dr. Griffith is certified through The Cooper Institute for Functional Movement Screen Performance in level one, then became Certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Screen (SFMA and FMS 2) in Chicago. He has also been RockTape certified since 2010, as well as certified in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT 1 and Rock blades since 2017) and Active Release Techniques (ART) for several years. Full-body in FDM since 2015 (Fascial Distortion Model), Level 1 instructor for Foundation Training since 2013. All of these certifications help him to provide the best care to his patients for all their musculoskeletal conditions.  Dr Griffith has also been the team physician for Washington High School since 2010.
